Information Technology Students Attain Industry Certification

Jan 13, 2015

Three information technology students from the Florence Campus recently passed the CompTIA Security+ certification exam and are now Security+ certified. With the encouragement of their instructor, Greg Seipelt, network administration student Elva Stull and cybersecurity students Chris Powell and Ken Huff sat for the exam.

The Security+ certification is one of three CompTIA exams students at American National University may elect to sit for. “These students worked hard, completed their labs, and dedicated their time to prepare for this exam, and I am proud of them and Mr. Seipelt for a job well done,” stated Valerie Bowman, director of IT programs.
