Campus Has Important Achievements

Aug 04, 2014

The Stark County Campus opened its doors in early 2012.  Now, two years later, students, instructors and staff are realizing the fruits of their labor.  The campus held its first graduation of five students recently.  The graduates were:  Ashley Arnold- diploma, medical office assistant, Gregory Sanford- diploma, business administration, Monique Anderson- associate’s degree in applied science, pharmacy technician, Rachel Driver- associates degree, business administration, accounting, Toccora Carpenter-diploma, medical office assistant.  The success of these students is a result of all of their hard work.  Behind their success is a staff who diligently worked with them to help them reach their dreams.

The campus is now approaching a new milestone, as the first four students are completing associate’s degrees in medical assisting.  At this time, they are ready to become certified as registered medical assistants, and are currently waiting for the exam to be scheduled.  These students are: Cameron Autry, Sarah Floyd, Ellen Hattery, and Kala Jovingo.  They look forward to walking in the campus’s 2015 graduation ceremony next spring.
