Network Programs

The Network Program offers training to those already employed in the IT industry and those aspiring to launch IT careers. The program covers the three broad functional areas of jobs in the IT industry – helpdesk support, system/server administration, and network management.

The Network Program consists of up to six courses, not to exceed 299 clock hours. Selections can be made from the following list of courses:

Network Infrastructure (70-642) Desktop Support (70-680 & 70-685)
Applications Infrastructure (70-643 & Apache) Managing Clients (70-680 & 70-686)
Designing & Planning Networks (70-647) Managing Windows Servers (70-646)
Routing and Switching (CCNA) Managing Linux Servers
Voice and Data Integration (CCNA-VOIP) Managing Active Directory (70-640)
IT Project Management Network Security (Security+)
Computer Hardware (A+ hardware) Designing, Building, & Managing Email Systems
Client Operating Systems (A+OS & 70-680) Designing, Building, & Managing SharePoint Systems
Network Technologies (Network+) Designing, Building & Managing Database Systems (SQL Server & Oracle)

The coursework in this program can prepare students for a variety of career-specific certification exams such as the Cisco® Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and the Microsoft® Certified IT Professional (70-680) exam.
