Dear Prospective Student,

Thinking about starting college so you can begin a new career is a big decision, and in this very slowly recovering economy, uncertainty about taking such a big step can be a real concern. At National College, we understand your concern. After 127 years of welcoming new students just like you, we know it can be daunting, but any worries you may have will quickly disappear when you meet your fellow students and greet your friendly and helpful instructors.

With our small classes, advanced placement opportunities, helpful staff, convenient scheduling, and a host of other features that you know about, you’ll find the transition to college life easier than you thought possible. And we want to make it even easier for this term beginning on December 2, 2013.

With the continuing slow economy, the college has been authorized by the Board of Directors to waive the $50.00 application fee for this fall term (beginning December 2, 2013) for all new students entering into a diploma or associate’s degree program. This means that if you haven’t completed the application process due to not having paid this fee, you don’t have to wait any longer. You can immediately complete your enrollment process, schedule any last minute placement tests you may still need to complete, take care of the other paper work and arrange for your financial assistance and other needs, and be scheduled for class.

If you have already paid your application fee, that’s great. Now you will receive a credit for that amount on your account and your other costs will be reduced accordingly.  Right now is a good time for you to check in with your admissions representative to ensure you have taken care of everything else.

If you receive this and you haven’t yet made your final decision to start training for your new career, I am reminding you that time is short.  This application fee waiver, the college’s continuing recognition as one of the lowest cost career colleges (U.S. Department of Education, College Affordability and Transparency Center), ten week terms which allow you to complete an associate’s degree in as few as 15 months (and a bachelor’s degree in 30 months of continuous attendance), are just a few of the many reasons you don’t want to delay any longer.

But you must act quickly. Call the campus nearest you (855-800-1716, toll free), go to our website (, or even call my office (877-540-3494) to get information on the admissions office nearest you.

Do it now to ensure a bright future for you and your family.
