Martinsville graduate Lakeesha Manns(pictured) earned a perfect score on the Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) exam. She graduated received her associate degree from the medical assisting program this August and combined with her new certification, Lakeesha has a competitive advantage in her job search.
Lakeesha attributes her success to “coming to class, paying attention, taking good notes, asking questions, and lots of studying.” She also credits her instructors: “Mr. [Gary] Jenkins and Mrs. [Glenda] Jenkins both went out of their way to see that students acquired the skills they needed.” She also noted that Glenda was known to stay with students after class to answer questions.
Lakeesha is the second student from the Martinsville Campus to earn a perfect score this year. She has decided to continue her education at National in the accounting program to make her even more competitive in the job market.
