Putting your GI Bill Education Benefits to work
National College is approved by the following programs to provide our military members the financial support they need to complete their educational goals:
Yellow Ribbon Participant
National College has been designated as a Yellow Ribbon Institution of higher learning for the current academic year by the Department of Veterans Affairs.
Blue Ribbon Grant
Provides additional financial support and extends military education benefits. Valued at up to $10,000
Armed Services Recognition Grant
This grant assists eligible military service member students, their spouses, and their children to minimize out-of-pocket expenses. Valued at up to $5,000.00 annually. It is not available for Chapter 33 recipients.
Veterans Administration Work Study
Qualified students enrolled at a rate of three-quarters time or greater in a college degree, vocational, or professional program may "earn while they learn" under the Department of Veteran's Affairs (VA) Work Study Allowance Program. This program is open to all individuals eligible for VA educational programs, not just veterans, and permits eligible students to perform services for the VA in return for monetary allowance equal to the prevailing federal or state minimum wage, whichever is higher.
