Medical Assisting Pinning

In recognition of completion of the medical assisting degree program, the Youngstown Campus recognized graduates with a pinning ceremony. Clinical Instructor Paula Kelley and Director of Health Care Education Veronica Zurcher organized the ceremony and distributed certificates and medical pins to students with their family and friends present. Campus Director Tim Philibin and Paula addressed graduates with encouragement about their new careers in medical assisting. Beverly Perry, valedictorian of the graduating class, also gave a speech on what it means to her to be a medical assistant. She was very happy to receive her pin as it is a visible reminder of her accomplishment.
