A Patriotic Farewell

A Liberty Township fire engine and many veterans on motorcycles brought George McDonnell, Director of Information Technology Programs, to his surprise farewell party on September 2nd at the Youngstown Campus. He will be on active duty in Iraq serving as an intelligence analyst for approximately 400 days. Members of the local American Legion presented George with a plaque and certificate.
During the farewell party, staff, students, and faculty lunched together with George and his family on the back patio. WYTV 33 ABC attended the event and reported the following: http://www.wytv.com/content/news/local/story/Special-Send-off-for-Local-Sailor/7Ym0jE--wEi0a6QQ1eRn0g.cspx.
