Making the Grade at Southeast RCAP
Bobby Welch (pictured), a May graduate from the accounting program, was recently hired by the Southeast Rural Community Assistance Project, Inc. (RCAP), as a finance clerk. Bobby had completed his externship with RCAP in May. RCAP's Donna Robinson was pleased with Bobby's performance: "After working with Bobby and realizing his skill level, passion to learn, professional stature and his team player attitude, we knew he was definitely someone we wanted on our team." Bobby was invited for an interview and an opportunity to compete for a position. "We did conduct those interviews fairly and scored each candidate evenly," said Donna. "However, Bobby outshined them all." Donna went on to say, "Thank you, National College, for partnering with us to make this a great experience for Bobby and for providing us with such a great employee ...Your passion to produce greatness is evident."
