Student Generosity
In the spirit of the holiday season, the Roanoke Valley campus library and Student Activities Committee (SAC) spearheaded a drive to assist the Salem Food Pantry, the Salvation Army, and the Roanoke Valley SPCA with their needs. Donations to the Salvation Army Angel Tree, a variety of foods to the Food Pantry, and a combination of cash, food, and other needed items to the SPCA will mean a happier 2009 for both our two legged and four legged neighbors. Thanks to all the students, staff, and faculty who participated in these campaigns for their generosity. Special thanks are due to Librarian Betty Johnson for her leadership and dedication to community causes.
