Festive Assembly

The Richmond Campus held its quarterly assembly on Thursday, October 30th to honor students for academic achievement and perfect attendance. Students, staff, and faculty attended the event dressed in the Halloween spirit to compete in a costume contest. Admissions Representatives Virgie Douglas, Teresa Walters and Amber Middleton entertained the students dressed as “Three Blind Mice.” Financial Planner Alethea Proctor (left) and work-study Patricia McCoy (right) dressed up as bags of M&Ms--special thanks to student Mike Lee (center) who painted the bags to look like the real thing.
During the assembly, faculty members also awarded a Student of the Month – the winners receive a front row
parking spot for a month! Students also had a chance to vote on the Teacher of the Quarter which was awarded to Instructor Eric Vogler.
Special thanks to student Lola Denise Renfro for making a “cupcake cake” (pictured left) in the shape of a witch for the assembly.
