Pathway to Success

The Memphis Campus hosted a community development forum entitled, “Pathway to Success.” The event was coordinated by Campus Director Kathryn Scott and Accounting Instructor Adrienne Dailey-Evans and included several community members (listed below). The forum supports the College’s mission of being dedicated to the training and educating of men and women for a full life and a successful career in a number of general and particular fields. The forum also encourages students to seek available resources from the community that will support their education and desired career paths. It provides students an opportunity to hear and meet professionals from a variety of business disciplines that align with the degree and diploma programs offered at the campus.
The following speakers provided valuable career options and resources: Loritha Harris (Customer Service Representative for Sedgwick CMS), Dini Malone (Director of Administrative Services, Juvenile Court), Tiffany Smith (Human Resource Generalist for Cleo Inc), James Alexander (Assistant Principal from Colonial Middle School), Patrick Price (Pharmacy! Respiratory Sales Representative for Schering Plough), and Misty Eddleman (Family Services Coordinator for Exchange Club Family Services). The resources provided by the speakers will assist students in making sound careers decision for life.
The event was the first of a series that will create opportunities for the College to build relationships with the Memphis business community for potential internship and job placement.
