Celebrating Constitution Day
On Thursday, September 17th, the Martinsville campus welcomed Ann Hylton (right), chief magistrate for Henry County, Patrick County, and the City of Martinsville, as a guest speaker for Constitution Day. Chief Magistrate Hylton spoke to morning and evening students about how some of their constitutional rights affect them in their everyday lives. Students were then further enlightened on some rights during a question and answer session, in which Chief Magistrate Hylton responded to what she felt were "some very good questions."
