Greeting the Public
Community Resource Coordinator Michael Goehle worked a booth at the Patrick County Fair from September 15th to September 20th, hoping to meet new people and interest potential students in the Martinsville Campus. Michael was pleased at the reception he received, and he enjoyed discussing career programs offered at National College. He is pictured discussing the Computer Applications program with a fair visitor. 
On September 30, the local Martinsville-Henry County Chamber of Commerce held a Leadership Development Program meeting at the Martinsville Campus. The topic of the evening was “Education as the Cornerstone of Economic Development.” Campus Director John Scott is pictured addressing the crowd of 40 visitors on the college’s role in preparing the local workforce for future jobs in the community.
