Seeking National Students
On April 30th, the Martinsville Campus held its Spring Career Fair at the campus from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Nineteen employers and public service agencies were present to answer student questions, receive resumes, and to pass out employment applications. Martinsville Career Center Director Jill Jones and Community Resource Coordinator Jim Gillispie planned the event, including arranging to have pizza for lunch. Students and employers alike agreed the event provided a good opportunity to network for employment and staffing purposes.
