The first Southside Virginia campus of National College began serving Patrick and Henry Counties in 1978, and quickly built a reputation among students seeking new careers in the fields of management, computers, accounting, and health care.
On March 24, 2008 the campus began holding classes in a new campus facility at 905 North Memorial Boulevard. The $2.3 million renovation of this new facility will provide additional classroom space, support new programs, and offer greater convenience to students.

Summer Luau
Approximately 75 students, staff, and faculty attended an end-of-term party on Friday, August 8th at the Dutch Inn. The theme of the event was “Summer Luau,” and the Student Activities Council presented female guests with Hawaiian leis to accent the occasion. Students also used grass skirts to decorate the buffet table and taped “tiki man” images to the walls. The college crowd dined and danced until 11:00 p.m. as a fitting end to the summer term.
