A Drive to Learn About Blood
During the week of July 20th, Nathan Baker (left) from the American Red Cross was the guest speaker for all medical classes at the Madison Campus. Mr. Baker discussed blood typing, pathology of blood, and other blood-related topics. The climax of the week was the Blood Drive held on July 30th. The campus' medical lab was transformed into a full-fledged Blood Donation Center where 37 students, staff and faculty donated blood. Thanks goes out to Director of Healthcare Education Junior Basant for putting this great event together.
