Operation DAD

On Wednesday May 21, the Madison Campus joined the Madison Church of Christ and several local companies to support the Father's Day 2008 project, Operation DAD. The project called for campus faculty, staff, and students to donate items such as calling cards, disposable cameras, snacks, and toiletries. The campus also contributed a financial donation to the project from the College’s Community Relations Fund.
The goal of the project was to pack and ship 6,000 backpacks filled with personal items to the members of 506th Bridgade Combat Team who are home based from Ft. Campbell, KY in time for them to receive them before Father's Day. The project was a huge success with a lot of support from the campus and community. The College is proud of our men and women in uniform and we are honored to support them.
