Phi Beta Lambda BBQ
Phi Beta Lambda continued in their effort to raise money to send Bobbi Burrell to the National PBL conference in Atlanta, GA on Saturday June 14th. Bobbi’s family assisted with this fundraiser as they own a company by the name of Wholly Smokers that sells smoked ribs and pulled pork. They also prepared hot dogs and hamburgers, their own special barbecue sauce that they prepare by hand, and sides of potato salad and baked beans. According to Bobbi, her family smoked the ribs and pulled pork all night the night prior to the event so that everything would be ready.
PBL members purchased drinks and snacks to assist in the fundraiser. During this fundraiser, PBL assisted Bobbi’s family to raise $400.00 which was split with Wholly Smokers (to cover the cost of the food) and provided $200.00 to assist Bobbi in honoring our chapter at the National PBL conference.
