National graduate featured in the New York Times

Bill Blackburn, independent filmmaker and graduate of the Lexington Campus’s radio & television broadcasting program, was recently interviewed for a major article in the New York Times. It seems Bill’s film making skills have earned him a little notoriety, as his views were sought by the nation’s leading newspaper for a story on a video contest sponsored by sandwich maker Quiznos. It seems that Bill was one of about 100 filmmakers who submitted videos in a national contest sponsored by the Quiznos chain. Rival Subway has filed a lawsuit against Quiznos over the contest.
Bill was a little surprised at the exposure he has suddenly received through the article. But he takes his profession seriously and is proud of the attention his video has acquired. We’ll be looking for Bill’s first Hollywood feature film before you know it!
