Learning from "Operation"

Students in Leesa McGill’s Terminology class were assigned a project to help each other learn the many medical terms. They were instructed to present their projects in game or interactive form. Student Michelle Bentley (left) enlisted the help of fellow student Terrence Harrison (right)for her game. Terrence put on an “Operation” costume as Michelle, dressed as a physician, pointed to the area on the costume and asked a question. The class was divided into teams and answered questions related to medical terminology, diseases, and procedures related to the human body. The entire class enjoyed the game, while learning a little more about medical terminology and the human body.
