Capitol Hill Field Trip
On February 3rd, students in the Health Information Technology (HIT) department attended the Indiana Health Information Management Association (IHIMA) Capitol Hill Day in Indianapolis. The day included breakfast, a tour of the historical Indiana State House Building, and a discussion on the three branches of government. During the field trip, student Sheila Watkins was reunited with her former elementary school principal Vernon G. Smith who is now an Indiana State Representative.
