Graduation 2008

On Friday, June 6, the Indianapolis Campus held its graduation ceremony. Amid the history and tradition of the Indiana War Memorial (pictured), each of the 57 men and women added a chapter to their personal history, college graduation. The natural ambiance and aura of the Indiana War Memorial provided a perfect backdrop for the roughly 300 attendees of the class of 2008.
The wisdom contained in keynote speaker Deborah Schroeder's speech was perfectly aligned with the type of information a new graduate - of any stage of life - needs in order to attain career success as well as offered encouragement and hope for forging into the working world. Specifically, she focused on the potential benefits of their education; the transferable skills to focus on for marketability; and she encouraged continual development of "soft skills" to broaden opportunities.
The Alumni Hall of Achievement Award winner, Jeanette Eck (right), is the campus’s student services representative and works to raise the standards of excellence at the Indianapolis Campus. Jeanette has begun yet another journey by enrolling in the bachelor’s degree program thus continuing her success story.
Congratulations to the 2008 graduates and thank you for enriching the Indianapolis Campus.
