Lending a Helping Hand

The Indianapolis Campus family pulled together to help a fellow student in need. Surgical Technology student and Vice President of the Student Activity Council Cecily Polk tragically lost her home and all of her belongings in an apartment fire last week. The staff and faculty took up a collection to help Cecily get new books because she was determined to continue her classes. Donations came from fellow students, staff, and faculty and included money to replace her wardrobe or any other necessities. Other donations included clothes and toys for her son. She is very grateful for the campus’s support during this difficult time.
Campus Director Tim Pitman is pictured handing a donation to Cecily. Also pictured in the back are Administrative Assistant Janis Lawson and Community Resource Coordinator David Stephens.
