National College Honors Veterans

On Veterans Day, the Harrisonburg Campus recognized students, staff, and faculty who have served or are currently serving in the U.S. Armed Forces with day and evening ceremonies. During the ceremony, Campus Director Jack Ekey, who will soon retire, introduced the campus's new director, David Zimmerman. Both acknowledged and thanked the participating veterans for their service to our country. Business Department Chair Larry Davis, a retired Army colonel, asked all those present to remember and honor those who could not be present because they had given the ultimate sacrifice. Each veteran was presented with a gift from the college in appreciation for their service.
