Confidence Booster

Tonya Redford is one of the newest graduates from the Danville, Kentucky Campus.
She graduated in November with a medical assisting associate degree with honors and when she finished working as an extern for the Commonwealth Cancer Center, she was offered a full time job.
Not only did Tonya’s externship experience give her the confidence to do a good job but it also gave her pride in knowing that she now has a career that she loves.
Tonya never thought she would graduate from college, let alone graduate with honors: “It’s the best feeling in the world.”
She feels she would still be working dead-end jobs for minimum wage if it weren’t for her decision to enroll at National College.
She gives credit to her instructors for helping her achieve academic success: “The instructors are the best, they are there to help you in any way they can. The small town atmosphere makes it easier to ask questions and to get one-on-one with the instructors.” Tonya takes great pride in her degree and now feels like a good role model for her children.
“I wouldn’t be where I am now without National College, thank you guys for all you have done for me and the experience at National.”
