Celebrating Black History

In honor of Black History month, the Danville, KY Campus recently welcomed special guest speaker Chester Kavanaugh to the campus to share his story and life successes. Mr. Kavanaugh brings a unique background to Black History as a business owner with experience as a city official. He has served on several boards in the Danville area including the Boyle Co. Planning and Zoning Committee for six years and Habitat for Humanity. He served one term as an elected City Commissioner and worked diligently during that time in researching facts to ensure his decisions would be the best for everyone in the city. Students, faculty and staff were glad to have Mr. Kavanaugh on campus to celebrate Black History.
