Positive Experiences

Two students at the Cincinnati Campus have recently expressed sincere appreciation for their opportunity to learn.
Last term…I had the pleasure of meeting several of National College’s tutoring staff. I found this experience to be one of great value and benefit, both in my studies as well as easing the fears of returning to a class room setting after many years of being dormant. The staff’s warm and pleasant attitudes made the environment…very comfortable and conducive to learning. My advice to my fellow classmates is, if you are having difficulty in any area of your studies, before you give up, try a session with the tutors. I promise you won’t regret it. I successfully completed my term with a 3.33 GPA, and I know this could not have been possible without their help.”

Being out of school for thirty years, it was not an easy task getting back to school to brush up on my clerical skills. It was almost like starting all over again. After the first two weeks, I just knew I should change my career to something easier because I knew I wasn’t going to make it. Thank God for after-class tutors, (Ms. Turner, Ms. Bingham, and Mr. Scalfaro). There have been many changes and additions to computers in the last twelve years since I last used one. With the tutoring help, I was able to maintain my 3.5 GPA. I still have a long way to go, but I’m determined, hopeful, and not scared anymore. Thanks, National College, for great teachers that sacrifice their time to help and encourage students.
