Community Job Fair

In partnership with the City of Charlottesville, National College sponsored and participated in the area's largest annual Community Job Fair held at John Paul Jones arena last week. Charlottesville Campus Career Center Director Anne Brown joined forces with representatives from eight organizations to put together the fair. As a result of the committee's efforts, almost 2,000 job seekers filled the arena to speak with over 70 employers present representing a variety of industries including government, healthcare, technology, and insurance. Community Resource Coordinator Andrea D. Copeland and Regional Director of Military Affairs Kelly Chamberlain spoke with job fair attendees who expressed an interest in learning new job skills with our programs that will make them more marketable.
Kelly is pictured speaking with one job fair attendee about the College's programs while Ahmed Dini completes a form to receive more information. Mr. Dini was so excited about enrolling that he visited the Charlottesville Campus shortly after leaving the job fair.
