Gold Presentation

At the annual Charlottesville/Albemarle Joint School Board meeting, the Charlottesville Albemarle Technical Education Center (CATEC) and the CATEC Foundation presented the Charlottesville Campus with a plaque of appreciation for being a Gold Sponsor at their 6th Annual Career Expo and Job Fair held at the Fashion Square Mall. Community Resource Coordinator Andrea D. Copeland accepted the plaque on the College's behalf. This is the College's second year participating in the expo. It’s a great way to share with the community information about the College, its programs and grants and to recruit new students.
Doris Howard was one such student recruited at the Career Expo by Director of Admissions Ramona Gordon. She spoke with Ramona to learn how she could improve her marketable skills and accomplish her educational goals. Within a few weeks of this meeting, Doris had visited the campus, completed all necessary paperwork and enrolled in the medical coding and billing program. Says Ramona, “Doris came to the table knowing exactly what she wanted and she didn’t waste any time making it happen.” We’re glad Doris chose National College to help her reach her goals. We wish her all the best!
