Melissa Jackson, who received her associate degree in accounting from the Bristol Campus in 2009, has recently stepped into a job that she enjoys. After volunteering for 10 to 15 hours a week for three months at the Bristol Housing Authority, they decided she had the skills they were looking for in the accounting department. Now, as a full time employee with the Bristol Housing Authority, Melissa is assisting the financial director with payroll functions, fiscal year-end paperwork, balancing utility expenses, and mailing of monthly statements. Melissa’s success can be contributed to her amazing work ethic, her determination to succeed, and all the skills she learned at National.
