2009 Graduation Celebration

On Wednesday, May 27th, the Bartlett and Memphis Campuses partnered together for a graduation ceremony at the Memphis Botanical Garden. A total of 103 graduates earned degrees for the academic year, 17 of whom made up Bartlett's first graduating class. More than 700 family and friends attended the event to see their loved ones receive their diplomas. Pamela Marshall, Vice-President of Public Policy and Community Affairs at the Memphis Regional Chamber of Commerce, gave a moving commencement address, telling graduates to never give up on their goals and always strive to be better.
Bartlett Pharmacy Technician graduate SeQuita Gordan said she was so proud to have gone to college and earn a degree. "It has been a great experience." Subsequently, SeQuita secured a job at the Bartlett campus as the Imaging Coordinator. Bartlett Administrative Assistant Sheena Freeman said, "It was such humbling experience to see so many graduates reach their potential and reach their goal of earning a college degree."
