Business Knowledge First-Hand
Denna Curtin (pictured right) is a student at the Akron Area Campus in the business administration-management and accounting degree programs and plans to graduate this May. She is currently working as an extern for the Stow-Munroe Falls Chamber of Commerce. She has been helping Executive Director Cindy Lewis (pictured left) and the rest of the staff plan for the Stow Munroe Falls Community Showcase, a two-day event that takes place every other year and features nearly 200 businesses. In addition, Denna has been helping the Chamber organize their accounts payable records, update luncheon materials, and email lists for the upcoming Industrial Breakfast. Denna said she has learned a lot from her externship.
