Directions:

From Interstate 75 at Exit 87, at the first traffic light just beyond the Interstate, turn right (south) on Killarney Lane. We're located behind the Shell station next to the Waffle House and Econo Lodge motel.

Coming from the east on KY 52, turn left on the Robert Martin Boulevard, heading west. As the signs indicate the Interstate ahead, turn left at the Killarney Lane intersection.

Billy Ackerman has been the Madison County Property Valuation Administrator since 2009. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Managerial Finance from Eastern Kentucky University. He is an instructor at the Richmond Campus.

Donna Barney has taught at National College since January, 2001. She was the litigation paralegal and office manager for Ecton and Chenault, Attorneys at Law until 1999, when she accepted the position of Court Administrator for the newly created Family Court for Clark and Madison Counties. Donna holds a Master of Library Science degree from the University of Kentucky, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Science from Eastern Kentucky University.

Janet Lynn Bellamy has been involved in the teaching profession since 1963 in the areas of business and computers. She holds a life-time teaching certification from both the state of Kentucky and the state of Louisiana. She currently serves as the chair of the Computer Department at the National College campus in Richmond, Kentucky where she teaches computer-related courses and accounting courses.

She has worked for National College for 16 years as an instructor and currently serves as Director of Health Care Education at the Richmond Campus. She is an instructor for medical-related courses, and she oversees the coordination of the externships for the medical assisting and pharmacy technology programs.

Vickie Cook has 23 years of experience as an adult educator. She earned an Associate of Arts degree in Legal Secretary and a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Eastern Kentucky University. Vickie is currently serving as the Administrative Office Department Chair at the Richmond, KY Campus. She is an instructor of Administrative/Medical Office Procedures and Finance, Keyboarding I & II, and Preparatory Keyboarding courses.

Dinah Deck has worked in the medical field for more than 40 years and holds a Registered Nursing license in both Kentucky and Massachusetts. She obtained a Master of Science degree with a major in Nursing Administration/Business Management from Regis College, a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Nursing from Worcester State University, an RN First Assistant from National Institute for First Assisting (RNFA)at Front Range Community College, an Associate degree in Liberal Arts from Middlesex Community College, and she attended the Surgical Technologist Course at Greenwich Hospital. Dinah has been a nursing instructor at Eastern Kentucky University, a public school substitute nurse and teacher, an RNFA lab instructor/ coordinator and clinical evaluator at Northeastern University. She is a Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR), Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant (CRNFA), and Certified Surgical Technologist (CST). She is qualified and certified in Basic Life Support(BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Her Professional Associations include the Association of Operating Room Nurses (where she served on a National Chair in 2007 through 2009), the First Assistant Special Assembly, Plastic/Reconstructive Special Assembly, the Nursing Council of Operation Smile International, the American Red Cross, and the Medical Reserve Corps. Dinah is published in the Journal of Nursing Administration (JONA), 2003. She is a healthcare instructor at the National College Richmond Campus and serves as Department Chair for Healthcare Management at the Lexington Campus.

Gena Greer has been an instructor at National College since 1991. She holds a bachelor's degree in Paralegal Science with a Minor in Psychology from Eastern Kentucky University. She is also continuing her education with graduate work in Mental Health Counseling at Eastern Kentucky University. Gena currently works in the legal field. She owns and operates an independent paralegal service in Richmond, Kentucky.

Samuel Hudson is an executive-level public affairs officer with years of extensive experience in community relations, media relations, and social media. He holds a master's degree in education and is an instructor at the National College Richmond Campus.

Glen Jones served eight years in the U.S. Air Force, seven of which involved all operations concerned with the practice of pharmacy, including filling prescriptions, dosage calculations, compounding and dispensing pharmaceutical products. He was employed by Sandoz Pharmaceuticals for 26 years as a Pharmaceutical Rspresentative and has been an instructor at the National College Richmond Campus since 2002.

Henry Jones has worked for a large electrical utility company as a geotechnical technician and an environmental management scientist. He has also owned and managed several retail and restaurant franchises. Henry received his bachelor's degree in economics from Clemson University and his master's degree in environmental economics from the University of Georgia. He is an instructor at the Richmond Campus.

David Layton - Instructor

David Layton practiced law in Lancaster, Kentucky from 1971 to 2000. He received his Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Eastern Kentucky University and his Juris Doctorate degree in Law from the University of Kentucky. David was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the Signal Corps of the United States Army Reserve in 1968 and served until 1996, when he retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. During his military service, he spent 20 years at the Pentagon, primarily working on the Army Budget, and graduated from the US Army Command and General Staff College in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas when he completed the resident reserve course. He teaches accounting, law, humanities, ethics, and business courses at both the Richmond and Danville, Kentucky Campuses. David serves as the Department Chair for Accounting at the Danville, KY Campus.

Dorine Liebengood obtained an Associate degree in Allied Health from Baker College in Michigan and has worked in the medical field for over 30 years in several specialties, including 19 years in oncology, hematology and internal medicine, as well as 14 years in dermatology, family practice, and pediatrics. She currently works in cardiology. Dorine has been a medical instructor at National College for almost eight years.

Amber Middleton has over 6 years of experience in the health care field and 4 years of experience in higher education. She has a bachelor's degree in human biology from Michigan State University and a Master's of Public Health degree from Walden University. Amber is currently the General Education Department chair for the Richmond Campus and teaches general education and allied health science courses.

Teresa O'Connor graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, KY with Teaching Certification and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. She also obtained a Master of Arts degree in Community Counseling. Teresa has been both a teacher and a student counselor at a private school. She has also conducted individual and group counseling sessions at a hospital under the direction of Psychiatric Nurses and a Psychiatrist as well as various mental health agencies. She is an instructor at National College's Richmond, Kentucky Campus.

David is originally from Philadelphia, PA and served as a member of the Penn Wynne Fire Co for 23 years. He taught at a high school in PA for 8 years, was part owner/operator of Silver Dry Goods for 10 years, and owned and operated the Laural River KOA Kampground in Corbin, KY for five years. He also taught at EKU for two years and Madison Central H.S. for 19 years. He has been an instructor at National College's Richmond Campus since 1990 and teaches business-related courses. He holds a bachelor's degree in education from Temple University and a master's degree in education administration from Eastern Kentucky University.

Tonya Thomas - Instructor

Tonya Thomas holds an Associate of Science degree in Medical Assisting from Eastern Kentucky University. She is currently pursuing a degree in Nursing at Midway College. She hopes to continue on to obtain a Doctorate in Nursing and to become a Nurse Practitioner. Tonya teaches in the health care program at National College's Richmond Campus.

Eric spent 35 years in manufacturing, of which 25 years was in accounting positions and 10 years in plant management. He was involved in plant, divisional and corporate accounting. His financial career included start-ups, plant closures, and spin-offs. Eric's industrial background included automotive, truck industry, electronics, and lift trucks. He was one of the first people embarking on Activity Based Costing Accounting within the industry with a pilot program through Harvard University. Eric also opened and operated his own consulting practice focused on acquiring small business equity. Eric holds a bachelor's degree from John Carroll University, as well as a Master of Business Administration degree from Baldwin Wallace College. He has been an instructor at National College for 8 years, and he is the current Chair of Accounting and Business at the Richmond Campus.

Veronica Waddles - Instructor

Veronica Waddles has 12 years of experience in the medical field. Her experience includes working in nursing homes, hospitals, and hospice care in a variety of settings, including long term care, ICU, ER, Med Surg, and the cardiac/telemetry unit. Veronica has been an instructor with National College since 2009, first at the Danville, KY Campus and now at the Richmond Campus. She is a Certified Professional Coder and currently works at Hospice Care Plus as a referral specialist.
