Carlos Black is presently a Regulatory Analyst and has a background in public utility regulation as both an Investigator and Analyst. He also has more than 15 years of teaching experience at the career and technical college level. Carlos received his bachelor's degree from the University of Memphis and his master's degree in business education from Middle Tennessee State University. Carlos is past-president of both the Tennessee Business Education Association and the Gamma Eta chapter of Delta Pi Epsilon, a national graduate honor society for professionals in business education. He teaches keyboarding, business, and medical assisting courses at the National College of Business & Technology Nashville Campus.

Gina Crawley received her Juris Doctorate degree from Florida Coastal School of Law and earned her undergraduate degree from Murray State University. Her early career was spent working as an Assistant Public Defender in Metropolitan Nashville, Davidson County, where she handled criminal cases involving adults and juveniles. In 2010, Gina left the Public Defender's Office to form her own practice. She has continued serving the youth through her Napier Looby Bar Association membership, and she presents monthly programs to the youth at the Davidson County Detention Center. She is also an instructor at the National College of Business & Technology Nashville Campus.

Evelyn Dallas received her Bachelor of Science degree from David Lipscomb College. She taught in New Jersey, Virginia, and Tennessee in the areas of Secretarial Science and English. Evelyn is now an instructor of English and Administrative Office related courses at the Nashville Campus and currently serves as General Education Department Chair. She also serves as an instructor for the Madison Campus.

Gerardo De La Torre Ugarte - Instructor

Gerardo De la Torre-Ugarte has been a university professor for more than 40 years. He began his career working as a Chemical Engineer in a mining company and then taught at universities in Peru, Nicaragua, and the U.S. He is now an instructor of chemistry and math courses at the National College of Business & Technology Madison and Nashville Campuses. Gerardo is a Fulbright scholar and was awarded the "Southeast USA Regional Award in Chemistry Teaching" by the American Chemical Society, "The Hubert Smothers Award for Excellence in Teaching" by the Tennessee Association of Independent Schools and Colleges, and the "Distinguished Science Educator Award" by the Tennessee Academy of Science. He was also named "Professor Emeritus" by the National University of the Peruvian Amazon.

John Kell is an instructor at the Nashville Campus. Over the past 12 years, he has taught numerous computer technology courses including many of the Microsoft Academic Academy Courses, the Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), the Windows Operating Systems (Windows 98, 2000, XP, Vista, Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008), Desktop Publishing, Introduction to CIS, and Web Design. John's functional business experience includes Information Technology, Systems Engineering, Procurement, Operations Management, Business Development, Marketing, and Financial Management. Angela McDonald has been an instructor with National College of Business & Technology since 2007, where she teaches Medical Assisting, Health Information Technology, and General Education courses. She also leads a coding clinic each term for students who need extra coding help. Under the supervision of the Director of Health Care Education, Angela is the lead instructor over the Medical Office Assistant and the Medical Office Specialist programs. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in history and library science and an Associate of Science degree in health information technology and medical assisting. She is currently an instructor at both the Madison and Nashville Campuses.

She has professional experience in the areas of business, healthcare, financial operations, educational programming, instructional curriculum design, and administration. She has been in the educational and healthcare arena for 27 years, primarily in the area if medical billing and coding. Theresa began her career as a Certified Medical Assistant and went further to obtain a bachelors degree and a Master of Business Administration degree. She also earned several certificates in the training and development arena and completed a Master of Arts degree in training and development.

He worked as a Desktop Support Technician for Academic Technology at Western Kentucky University, a Computer Systems Analyst at Edward Jones, and is currently entering his second year teaching Information Systems Engineering and Computer Applications at National College of Business and Technology in Nashville, Tennessee. Andrew received his Bachelor of Science degree in Geographic Information Systems from Western Kentucky University, is a member of the Tennessee Geographic Information Council, and holds a GIS Systems Certification from Western Kentucky University. He teaches a wide variety of ISE and Computer Application courses, including Spreadsheet Applications, Supporting Desktop Operating Systems, Computer and Information Technology Fundamentals, and Introduction to Computer Programming.
