Beverly Anderson BA, MBA Beverly H. Anderson has operated her own freelance bookkeeping service since 1996, providing general bookkeeping and payroll services to small businesses. In 2008, she founded the Home-Based Business Chamber of Commerce where she serves as the national president. Beverly serves as a small business consultant, speaker, and volunteer small business mentor. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English/Secondary Education with a minor in Office Administration, a Master of Business Administration degree in Organizational Management specializing in Human Resources, and is currently pursuing her doctoral degree in Management and Organizational Leadership from the University of Phoenix. Beverly's professional associations include being a member of the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers, National Association of Female Executives, former member of the Cambridge Who's Who Among Professional Executives, and a certified Non-Profit Professional. Her awards include April Community Partner in Memphis presented by Networking In Memphis and SBA's 2012 Home-based Business Champion of the Year. Carolyn Bowman ASN Carolyn Bowman has been working in the healthcare field for 18 years. After a career in nursing, she became an instructor. Carolyn has an associate degree in nursing from Northwest Mississippi Community College. Albirdia Brown BS, AA Albirdia Brown has worked in the medical field for nearly 20 years and is presently a Data Entry/Payroll Clerk at a national home health agency. She has a Bachelor of Science degree from Rust College, an associate degree in Health Information Technology from National College of Business & Technology, a certification in AMA/MBC from Ittawamba Community College, and is pursuing graduate school through the University of Chicago. Stan Burton BS, MBA Stan Burton has served in variety of positions within the corporate and military fields,including Strategic Finance Manager, Master Claims Representative, Training Instructor-Writer, Recruiter, and he is currently a Senior Financial Analyst for a Fortune 500 company. Stan received his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Finance from Union University and his Master of Business Administration degree from Webster University. He is also a Retired Sgt First Class Army Reservist with more than 20 years of military service. His professional affiliations include City of Bartlett Industrial Development Board, Memphis City Charter School Board member,and Employee Relief Fund Board member for International Paper Company . Brandy Flynn B.S., M.S. Brandy Flynn has worked in the mental health field for close to ten years and is presently working in her own private practice as a mental health counselor. She is a graduate of Jackson State University, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and a Master of Science degree in Guidance & Counseling. Brandy has done post-graduate studies in Women's and Gender Studies at the University of Memphis, where she will gain a certificate. She is presently working on her doctorate in the mental health field. Brandy is an instructor of courses in psychology, ethics, and English at the National College of Business & Technology Bartlett Campus, as well as the Memphis Campus, where she also serves as Department Chair for General Education and is the advisor for the Student Activities Council. |

Thomas Powell BBA-MIS, EMT, Project Management in IT certification Tom Powell is a highly diversified executive with over 25 years of vast practical experience and proven results in general, technical, and functional leadership. He has diverse experience in corporate-level policy formulation, business development, program execution, fiscal management and decision-making and is a recognized expert in information technology. Tom is currently working as the IT Manager for Shelby County Government Aging Commission and serves as the Information Security and Privacy Officer. In parallel with his professional career, Tom has built an impressive record of achievement and advancement through a series of progressively responsible positions on Tennessee Task Force One, an Urban Search and Rescue Team under the control of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Department of Homeland Security, where he is currently serving as Plans Manager/TIS. In this role, Tom has actively served during a variety of events and national emergencies, including 9/11 Pentagon, Salt Lake Olympics, and Hurricanes Francis, Ivan, Dennis, Katrina, Wilma, Ernesto, Gustav, Hanna, and Ike. Tom is an instructor at the National College of Business & Technology Memphis Campus, where he also serves as department chair of the computer applications technology program. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in management information systems from the University of Memphis, Emergency Medical Technician certification through Southwest Tennessee Community College, Project Management certification in IT through Kaplan University, and is currently pursuing an Executive Master of Business Administration degree through the University of Memphis. |

Patrenna Singletary BS Patrenna Singletary Hancock has served in a variety of positions within corporate America for several Fortune 500 companies. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Management from Crichton College and is licensed in several states in Life and Health Insurance. Patrenna is the President of The Singletary Network, Managing Consultant for Singletary Investment Consultants, Nashville Regional Chapter Leader for Business Over Coffee, Radio Talk Show Host for Business Over Coffee Nashville, Editor in Chief for Singletary the Magazine, and Editor for Just My Nashville Magazine. Patrenna has received numerous awards, including: 2012 Educator of Distinction from the Tennessee Association of Independent Colleges and Schools, National College Distinguished Teaching Award for the Tennessee and Indiana Division for 2012, and National College Outstanding College Member for the Memphis Campus three times. She was also nominated for the 2012 Board of Directors of the Memphis World Trade Club. Dawna Snipes JD, MPA, BBA, AAS Dawna Snipes is an instructor at the National College of Business & Technology Memphis Campus, where she teaches Practical Law and Sales and Contract Law courses. She received a Juris Doctor (JD) from Thomas M. Cooley Law School located in Grand Rapids, Michigan, a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree from the University of Memphis, a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from The University of Memphis, and an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree from Southwest Tennessee Community College, located in Memphis, TN. Dawna has experience working at the Kent County Prosecutor's Office in Grand Rapids, MI, prosecuting juvenile delinquent matters and has provided advisory civil legal services to the Kent County Office of Corporate Counsel in the Public Sector Law Clinic located in Grand Rapids, MI. She has maintained a professional role in the criminal, civil, and juvenile court systems in her careers as a Court Liaison, Order of Reference Administrator, Probation Officer, and Paralegal in Memphis, Tennessee.
