Joan Blankenship has worked in both the medical field and the business field for more than 40 years and presently serves as a consultant to a national environmental conservation organization. Joan is a Registered Nurse with a Master of Science in Education degree. She teaches both medical and business courses for the National College Martinsville Campus.

Logan Bryant holds a Bachelor of Science degree in management science and information technology. He has experience in database management, development, administration, and implementation; commercial software project management and design; program management; and technical services. He is an instructor at the National College Martinsville Campus.

Debra Chaney holds an associate degree in Education from Patrick Henry Community College and a bachelor's degree in Special Education from Greensboro College. Wilhelmina Foster holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Eastern Michigan University, a Master of Science degree from Radford University, and a PhD from Madison University. During her career, she served as a teacher for Roanoke City Public Schools. Wilhelmina has been an instructor at the National College Martinsville Campus since 1991 and previously served as department chair for general studies.

Christopher Harding has worked with technology for more than 15 years and is presently a senior analyst for a global marketed membership support firm, in addition to serving as an instructor at the National College Martinsville Campus. He holds an Associate of Applied Science degree from Patrick Henry Community College and a Bachelor of Science degree in software engineering with a minor in database administration from Radford University. He also holds numerous industry certifications, including Microsoft Certified Trainer, Microsoft Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician, CompTIA A+, and CompTIA Network+.

Glenda Jenkins has been in the medical field for 37 years. She obtained her Registered Nursing degree from Patrick Henry Community College and is a Certified Pharmacy Technician. Glenda teaches medical assisting, pharmacy technician, and clinical courses and is currently serving as Department Chair of the Pharmacy Technician Program at the Martinsville Campus.

Gary Jenkins has worked in the medical field for 39 years. He holds an Associate Degree in Nursing from Patrick Henry Community College and is a Registered Nurse. Gary is an instructor of medical courses, including the medical clinical classes. He currently serves as the Director of Health Care Education for the Martinsville Campus, where he supervises the Medical Assisting and Pharmacy Technician Externship programs.

Susan Largen has a Master of Education degree with an endorsement in Reading Specialization from Averett University in Danville, VA. She taught in the Henry County School System for 30 years. Susan currently serves as a church administrative assistant and is an instructor of various English courses at National College's Martinsville Campus.

Alice Martin has worked in the accounting profession for more than 25 years serving as Accounts Payable Manager, General Accounting Supervisor, and Property Accountant for a Fortune 500 company. She received her Master of Business Administration degree from Averett University and her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Virginia Union University. Alice is an instructor of accounting and business courses for the National College Martinsville Campus and currently serves as Department Chair for the Accounting program.

Sarah Rakes is currently a biology instructor specializing in human biology and zoology. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in biology with a chemistry minor and a focus in pre-veterinary science from Christopher Newport University of Newport News, VA. Prior to teaching at National College, Sarah worked as a veterinary technician for six years. While attending Christopher Newport University, she worked as a biology research technician for three years. She also interned at the Virginia Museum of Natural History as a biology research assistant. Sarah teaches human anatomy and physiology as well as medical terminology.

Patricia G. Schofill has worked within the Computer and IT industry for more than 25 years. She has held a variety of positions, including manager of an internet company, Senior Analyst and Team Leader at COMPAQ Computer division of TAG, and as a Field Service Engineer at Siemens. Patricia has a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Stevens Institute of Technology, and a Master's degree from New York Institute of Technology. She is currently the Director of IT Programs and Dept. Chair of Information Systems Engineering at the Martinsville Campus of National College. Patricia teaches Networking, Windows Server Administration, and other ISE courses.

Lizz Stanley has worked in the environmental science field for 25 years and is presently the Executive Director of the Gateway Streetscape Foundation. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture, a Master of Landscape Architecture degree, and a Master Certificate of Historic Preservation. She is an instructor of environmental science courses at the National College Martinsville Campus.

She holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics, as well as a master of divinity degree. Patricia is an instructor of Preparatory Math, Business Math, and Algebra at the National College Martinsville Campus.

Pamela Van Nutt worked as a computer programmer within business and academia for 10 years while living in New York. She has been an instructor at the National College Martinsville Campus for the past 10 years and has been Department Chair for the Computer Application Technology program for much of that time. Pam teaches COM and ISE courses. She obtained a bachelor's degree from the State University of New York- Institute of Technology.

Lisa Williams has worked in the medical field for the past 16 years and is presently the Billing Manager with Martinsville Physician Practices. She received her associate degree from National College in Martinsville and holds two coding certifications.
