Directions:

From the North on I-75: Take Exit 110 (Winchester Road).Head west on Winchester Rd (US 60) approximately 1/3 mile. Turn left onto Sir Barton Way. The college will be on your left after approximately 1 mile.

From the East on I-64: Take Exit 81 to I-75 South. Head west on Winchester Rd (US 60) approximately 1/3 mile. Turn left onto Sir Barton Way. The college will be on your left after approximately 1 mile.

Take Exit 108 Man O'War. Travel southwest on Man O'War Blvd (Hwy 1425) approximately ¼ mile. Turn right onto Sir Barton Way. The college will be on your right after approximately 1-1/4 mile

Randie Barnett - Instructor

Randie Barnett worked in the medical field for 28 years, where she served in Radiology and as Women's Health and Resource Center Manager for Norton Hospital in Louisville. She has been with National College since 1999 in the medical education program. Randie contributed 10 years of service in medical missionary clinics in orphanages in Africa, Ukraine, Russia, and Poland. She holds an Associate degree and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Louisville, as well as a Master of Business Administration degree in Health Administration from Bellarmine University.

George Camp has worked in the IT field for several years as a website developer, computer technician, and database administrator. He received his bachelor's degree in Information Technology from Sullivan University and holds certifications as a Microsoft Certified Information Technology Professional, a Microsoft Certified Support Associate, and several CompTia certifications. George is an instructor at the National College Lexington Campus, where he currently serves as Department Chair of the Information Systems Engineering program.

Joshua Collins - Instructor

Joshua Collins is an instructor at the Natioanl College Lexington Campus. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Composition & Literature from Northern Illinois University and a Master of Education degree in English from the University of Kentucky. Joshua is the author of two research books and a novel. The former Vice President of the University of Kentucky served as the patron for Collins' novel, and Pope Benedict XVI officially recognized, in writing, one of Collins' research books along with his novel.

William Gray has worked in the Radio and Television field for more than 15 years. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Morehead State University. William is currently the Director of the Radio and Television Broadcasting program at the Lexington Campus and teaches many of the related courses.

He received a bachelors degree in Information Technology from Sullivan University and holds several Microsoft and CompTia certifications. Jeff is an instructor in the Information Systems Engineering program at the Lexington Campus.

Dr. Robert Hale serves as an instructor at the National College Lexington Campus. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in education, a Master of Arts degree in education, and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in religion and society. Robert also serves as an instructor through classroom-conferencing for the Danville, VA, Harrisonburg, and Indianapolis Campuses. In 2011 Dr. Hale was presented the "Rising Star" educator award by McGraw Hill and the Kentucky Association of Career Colleges and Schools. Dr. Hale received the "Distinguished Teaching Award" from the Kentucky Division of National College in 2012.

Jessica Hart has worked in the medical field for more than 13 years and is presently a paramedical examiner with Portamedic. Jessica has an associate degree from Sullivan University and is a Certified Medical Assistant. She is currently the Director of Health Care Education and teaches various medical classes at the Lexington Campus of National College.

David Hoagland has a bachelor's degree from the University of Kentucky and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). David has experience in many areas of accounting, including public practice, governmental accounting and industry and has served as staff accountant, manufacturing accountant, division director, and chief financial officer (CFO). He has owned and operated various businesses during his career and is a member of his state (KSCPA) and national (AICPA) accounting organizations. David teaches primarily accounting and business courses at the National College Lexington Campus. He also serves as an instructor through classroom-conferencing for the Harrisonburg and Indianapolis Campuses.

James Hurst has been with National College since 1976 and has served as the Department Chair for the Business and Accounting program at the Lexington Campus since 1982. He holds a bachelor's degree in Accounting and a master's degree in Business Education and has completed two years of law school. He is presently an accountant for Cardiology Associates, Mid-America Rare Coin Galleries, and other local businesses.

Jill Jones has over 25 years of experience as a licensed Pharmacist in retail and hospital pharmacies in the Lexington area. She holds a bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and is an instructor at National College's Lexington Campus.

Angela Maggard holds a bachelor's degree from Morehead State University, as well as an Associate degree in nursing & allied health and radiologic technology. She worked in General, Cardiovascular, & Thoracic Surgery for 10 years before starting her own medical consulting business. Angela has been an instructor at National College for 10 years and also currently works as a Paramed Examiner for insurance and disability companies.

George Oberg has served in many accounting and financial positions in the manufacturing, extractive and service industries including cost, financial reporting, treasury, chief financial officer, and has had operations oversight responsibilities. He currently owns and operates a horse breeding marketing and sales company. George received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Elmhurst College and a Master of Business Administration degree in Accounting from the Keller Graduate School of Management. He is an instructor of most business and accounting courses offered at the National College Lexington Campus. George also serves as an instructor through classroom-conferencing for the Danville, VA, Indianapolis, and Lynchburg Campuses.

David Powell has practiced law in the nuclear power industry as a partner in a Washington, D.C. law firm, as well as in his own firm. He was the owner of a consulting business in the energy industry. He holds a Bachelor's degree, a Juris Doctor, and an LLM. He is a retired military officer. David serves as the Department Chair for the General Education program at the Lexington Campus.

Wayne Smorstad - Instructor

Wayne Smorstad is a military veteran and gained extensive experience in transportation logistics while in Vietnam. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Wisconsin - LaCrosse, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Technology from Austin Peay State University. He is a member of the Association for Operations Management (APICS). Wayne is employed by a large commercial and industrial manufacturing company and has extensive experience in multiple areas, including accounting, finance, engineering, supply chain, production operations, and management. He earned a six sigma black belt level and has extensive lean manufacturing training and application of lean principles. Wayne serves as an instructor at the National College Lexington Campus and is also a partner in a small business.

Debra Speir is an instructor at the National College Lexington Campus. She holds an Associate of Arts degree from Florida State College of Jacksonville and certification in surgical technology by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting. Debra has been an instructor of surgical technology courses for over 6 years.

She worked as a programmer with a company designing software for government offices and has most recently worked as an executive assistant. Paula is an instructor of Microsoft, keyboarding, and ISE courses at the National College Lexington Campus.

Penelope Stauffer has been serving the community as an educator since 1975. She has been an instructor in West Virginia and Kentucky in both private and public schools. Currently at National College, Penelope teaches courses in Environmental Science, Biology, Microbiology, and Diseases of the Human Body. She holds a bachelor's degree in Biological and General Science and a master's degree in Education from Marshall University.

Florence Thomas is an instructor at National College's Lexington Campus. She holds a master's degree in Curriculum & Instruction and a bachelor's degree in Education, both from the University of Kentucky. Her previous teaching experience includes Kentucky State University, Martin Luther King Academy of Excellence, Crawford Middle School, and Winburn Middle School.

Jerry Ward has been an instructor for National College since 1985. He served as a Senior Marketing/Planning Analyst for Occidental Petroleum and has been the Director of Marketing for various appliance manufacturing companies. Jerry founded a commercial food service equipment manufacturing company, which he later sold to ECO-LAB Corp. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and serves as an instructor for both the Richmond and Lexington Campuses.
