Directions:

From Interstate 40/75, Take Exit 379A from the east, turning left and crossing over the Interstate, then at the next intersection, turn right on Kingston Pike and another short right at our sign.

Coming from the west, use exit 379 (Bridgewater), go through one red light and at the second red light (Walker Springs Rd.) turn right, then left onto Kingston Pike and left into the College.

On the KAT bus line, route 11A has a stop at the Gallaher View/Kingston Pike intersection.

Michael Beach has a diverse background with professional experience in Operations, Business Development, Marketing, and Organizational Management. He has taught various computer technology courses with topics including Microsoft Office applications, operating systems, security and hardware. Michael has provided desktop application and hardware support in several of his past positions and has experience with many proprietary software packages. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science and a Master of Business Administration degree, along with MCP and MCT certifications. Michael is an instructor at the National College of Business & Technology Knoxville Campus.

Rick Bearden - Instructor

Rick Bearden has worked in the medical and health field for more than 26 years and is presently a nursing student at Lincoln Memorial University. Rick was a Class III Officer in the US Air Force, where he worked with the Medic Team and military transportation. He holds associate degrees in liberal arts and psychology. Rick teaches medical courses at National College of Business & Technology in Knoxville.

Terry Bogard is a summa cum laude graduate of South College where he earned his Associate of Science degree. He has 14 years of experience and training as a Certified Medical Assistant(AAMA) and as a licensed nurse. Terry's areas of experience include Physician Office/Clinic (Internal Medicine, Family Practice, and Cardiology), Physician Office Laboratory Coordinator/Supervisor, Acute Care hospital setting on the CardioPulmonary Unit, and he currently works in home healthcare. He is an instructor in the health care department at the Knoxville Campus

Clare Borsari has experience teaching and tutoring math to students of all ages and abilities. During her master's program she gained additional proficiency at the college level in her position as a teaching assistant for several math-intensive architecture classes. She has a particular focus on adult math literacy issues. Clare holds a Bachelor of Science degree in math education and a Master of Architecture degree. She is an instructor at the National College of Business & Technology Knoxville Campus.

Angela Brown has served in a variety of positions in government business, including, Welfare to Work Case Manager, United States Postal Service Data Conversion Operator, and office Manager for the U.S Census Bureau. Angela also served 14 years with non-profit organizations and held positions of district and regional manager, state vice president, and state president. She received her bachelor's degree in business administration from Tennessee Wesleyan College, and her Master of Education degree and Master of Business Administration degree from Lincoln Memorial University. She is a current high school business teacher and is an instructor of Microsoft Office courses at the Knoxville Campus.

Kimberly Cardwell has worked as a pharmacy technician at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine for 13 years and gained previous experience as a phlebotomist at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychololgy and is a licensed phlebotomist and a certified pharmacy technician. Kimberly is currently an instructor of pharmacology courses at the National College of Business & Technology Knoxville Campus.

Edy Copeland is an instructor in the allied health program at the National College of Business & Technology Knoxville Campus. She is an experienced Critical Coronary Care and Intensive Care Nurse with additional experience in Medical-Surgical and Oncology nursing. She has also been a preceptor and clinical educator in these units within the hospital setting. Edy is a Registered Nurse and holds an Associate of Nursing degree, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, and a Master of Science degree in Business Education. She is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Nursing Education.

Bonita Gillespie is a Certified Public Accountant and owns the accounting firm of Gillespie Financial and Tax Service. She holds a Master of Arts degree in Business Education from East Tennessee State University and Bachelor of Science degree in Business Commerce from Knoxville College. Bonita has over 35 years of teaching experience and is an instructor at the Knoxville Campus, where she also serves as department chair of the accounting program.

Curt Hall has over 35 years of experience in Human Resource Management as a Generalist with broad areas of responsibility. He is active in the Society for Human Resource Management both locally and regionally. Curt has been the recipient of two major HR awards. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration and a Master of Science degree in education. Curt has been an instructor at the Knoxville Campus of National College since 2006.

Robin Matyczyk has been in the education field for 15 years. Her background is in elementary education, and she is presently a 4th grade teacher in Pigeon Forge. Robin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in middle education with elementary education certification, a Master of Arts degree in curriculum and instruction, and is an Educational Specialist in administration. She is an instructor at the National College of Business & Technology Knoxville Campus, where she teaches preparatory math and preparatory English courses.

For the past 25 years, he has been employed with the Internal Revenue Service as a Revenue Agent responsible for the auditing of tax returns. He has also been an instructor of accounting & business courses since 1996, having joined National College of Business & Technology's Knoxville Campus in 2007.

Amanda Slattery has worked in the IT industry for more than 10 years. She currently works in IT for Scripps Networks Interactive, a leader in lifestyle media which owns such brands as HGTV, Food Network and Travel Channel. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from Indiana State University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Indiana Wesleyan University. She is ITIL Foundations certified and MOS certified. Amanda is an instructor at the National College of Business and Technology Knoxville Campus.

Meiko Thompson - Instructor

Meiko Thompson obtained both a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a Master of Science degree in Environmental Science from Tuskegee University in Tuskegee, AL. She went on to obtain a PhD in Natural Resources and Environmental Science from Alabama A&M University with a specialization in Soil Microbial Ecology and Biochemistry. A post-doctoral research fellowship at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville brought Meiko to East Tennessee. She has been an instructor with the Knoxville Campus of National College of Business and Technology since June 2011, where she has taught Biology, Environmental Science, and Preparatory Math.
