Map & Directions for Dayton, OH Campus

Directions:

From Interstate 675, take exit 10 and travel west on Indian Ripple Road, which becomes Dorothy Lane after crossing County Line Road. Kettering Towne Center is at the next major intersection. Just past the shopping center, turn left at the Tumbleweeds restaurant onto Woodman Center Drive, left again into the parking lot and immediately turn right. The College is located just past Sears.

From I-75 north or south, in downtown Dayton, take 35 east. Travel 4.7 miles east to Woodman Drive. Take the Woodman Drive exit to the right heading south. Travel 3.0 miles to Dorothy Lane and then turn right. Once on Dorothy Lane heading west, in 0.3 miles the next light will be Woodman Center Drive. Turn left on Woodman Center Drive and travel 0.2 miles and National College is on the left behind Sears at 1837 Woodman Center Drive.

Bob Abadie has worked in a variety of positions in the business world for over 35 years. His business background includes over 20 years in sales and marketing, including sales management, retail and restaurant management, and positions as a Corporate Trainer and a Trainer of Trainers. Bob was a successful business owner for several years, and has a strong technology background. He received his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of New Orleans and his Master of Education degree from Antioch University McGregor. Bob also received his Bachelor of Arts in Theology degree from the Way International and has published many case studies in textbooks related to business ethics. He teaches several business, technology, and general education courses at the Dayton Area Campus, where he serves as Department Chair for the Business Management program.

Joshua Alexander - Instructor

Joshua Alexander is an instructor for the Pharmacy Technician programs at the National College Dayton Area and Cincinnati Campuses. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry from Wright State University, as well as four associate degrees from Sinclair Community College in chemistry, business, biology, and liberal arts and sciences. He has worked as a pharmacy technician for over 9 years and currently works in a retail pharmacy, owns his own company, and volunteers with the American Red Cross.

Hannah Barnhorn is a licensed Ohio Attorney and has been an instructor at National College since 2005, where she serves as Department Chair for the Paralegal Studies program. She successfully oversaw the Dayton Area Campus ABA Approval process. Hannah volunteers with the Dayton Volunteer Lawyer Project, taking domestic relation cases and is a full-time Legal Researcher. Her publications include the Ohio Chapter on Juvenile Collateral Consequences published by the ABA.

Les Cameron has 20 years of experience as a computer/network technician. Les is an instructor at the National College Dayton Area Campus and serves as director of the information systems engineering program.

William Furay has over 24 years of experience in the operating room and is a Certified Surgical Technologist through military training with the U.S. Navy. He is currently working privately for an orthopedic surgeon and also works as needed in the Kettering hospital system. William is an instructor at the National College Dayton Area Campus and serves as Clinical Coordinator for the Surgical Technology program.

Yan Krayterman is an instructor in the Information System Engineering Program (ISE) at the Florence, KY, Dayton, OH, and Cincinnati, OH Campuses. He holds a master's degree and a bachelor's degree in Heat Engineering and an associate degree in Network Engineering. Yan holds numerous industry certifications from Microsoft, Cisco, and CompTIA, including MCITP, MCSE, MCDBA, MCTS, MCP, MCPI, CCNA, Security+, Network+ and A+. He has almost 14 years of field experience in IT, mostly in roles related to IT Infrastructure and has worked as IT Department Manager, Sr. Network Engineer, Sr. Network Operations Center(NOC) Engineer, Network Administrator, Help Desk Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, and IT Instructor. Yan has been with National College since 2009.

Christine Malloy is an instructor in the Pharmacy Technician program at the National College Dayton Area Campus. She currently works as an Analytical Lab Manager for the University of Dayton Research Institute. Christine holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in pre-med from Wright State University and has completed medical technology coursework at the Kettering College of Medical Arts. She is a member of the American Society of Mass Spectrometry.

Wilbert Morris has worked in the financial field for more than 28 years and is presently a Financial Manager, employed as a Department of Defense (DOD) civilian at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Wilbert received his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Fayetteville State University and his Master of Science degree from Troy State University. He holds a Level I Certification in Business-Financial Management and is a member of the American Society of Military Comptrollers. He is an instructor of accounting courses at the National College Dayton Area Campus, where he also serves as department chair for the accounting program.

Derrick Parks - Director of Health Care Education

Derrick Parks has worked in various aspects of healthcare, public health, and allied health academia over the past 20 years. He attained his bachelor's degree in psychobiology from Oberlin College and completed two years of graduate medical education at Wright State University School of Medicine. Derrick is a certified medical assistant (CMA-AAMA) and is currently pursuing certification credentials as a Facilitator of Adult Learning (CFAL) and will apply for licensure to offer continuing education units (CEUs) to workshop participants in the medical assisting and allied health academia fields. He serves as an instructor and Director of Health Care Education at the National College Dayton Area Campus.

Monica Pazmino has worked in the Health Information Management field for six years. Currently she works as a Coding EMR Analyst and Auditor for a regional healthcare network. Monica has a Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Management from the University of Cincinnati and a Bachelor of Arts from the Universidad Catolica del Ecuador. She holds a Registered Health Information Administrator certification. She teaches Healthcare Reimbursement Methodologies.

Bob Sharp worked as a governmental accountant and served as finance director of several local governmental agencies and metropolitan housing authorities. He is now active in the tax preparation and tax problem resolution field, in addition to being an instructor of income tax courses. Bob holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Dayton. He is a Certified Public Accountant and is an Enrolled Agent licensed by the IRS.

Renee Smith has been a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) for the past 10 years and has worked in various aspects of health care for over 18 years. Renee received her Bachelor of Science degree in management from Indiana Wesleyan University and holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Health Information Management. She is an instructor and also serves as Director of the Health Information Technology (HIT) program at the Dayton Area Campus.

Monica Wiley is a Certified Surgical Technologist and worked at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN for 3 years. She is currently a surgical technologist at Ohio State University and serves as Director of Surgical Technology at the National College Dayton Area Campus. Monica holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in surgical technology.
