She received her Master of Science degree in Education Leadership from Radford University, her Master of Business Administration degree from Averett University, her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Averett University, and her Associate of Applied Science degree in Business Management from Danville Community College. Angela is an instructor of information technology and general education courses at the Danville, VA Campus.

Louise Cooper

Louise Cooper has worked in the medical field for more than 38 years as a registered nurse. She is presently working as a Qualified Mental Health Professional, specializing in behavioral health and intellectual disability. Louise holds an Associate in Applied Science degree in Nursing from Bronx Community College, Bronx, New York and is a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor in the State of Virginia. She has served as an instructor of Medical Terminology, Medical Law and Ethics, and Non-Invasive Clinical Procedures for the National College Danville, Virginia Campus.

James Devins

James Devins has been employed in the field of education and technology for over 45 years. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in Teacher Education from Virginia State University, his Master of Arts degree in Continuing Education from Howard University, and his Master of Science degree in Technology Management from the University of Maryland's University College. He is currently an instructor in the Danville, Virginia Public School System. In addition, he has been an instructor at the National College Danville, Virginia Campus for 5 years and currently teaches spreadsheet and database technology in the Information Technology Department.

Deborah Glymph

Deborah Glymph began her career as an educational technology paraprofessional after working in finance as an account executive. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the State University of New York at Stony Brook and her Master of Education degree from Mary Baldwin College. Deborah currently serves as an instructor at the Danville, Virginia Campus, where she teaches General Education and Computer Technology courses.

Robert Hale

Dr. Robert Hale serves as an instructor at the National College Lexington Campus. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in education, a Master of Arts degree in education, and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in religion and society. Robert also serves as an instructor through classroom-conferencing for the Danville, VA, Harrisonburg, and Indianapolis Campuses. In 2011 Dr. Hale was presented the "Rising Star" educator award by McGraw Hill and the Kentucky Association of Career Colleges and Schools. Dr. Hale received the "Distinguished Teaching Award" from the Kentucky Division of National College in 2012.

Katlin Hecox

Katlin Hecox has worked in the counseling field for over 20 years and currently has a private counseling practice. She is a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist. Katlin received her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University. In addition to presenting at Professional Conferences such as the American Counseling Association, Katlin teaches psychology, ethics and logic courses at the Danville, Virginia Campus.

Anthony Hogue
Department Chair - Computer Applications Technology

Anthony Hogue is Chair of the Computer Department at the Danville, VA Campus of National College. He teaches courses on the entire Microsoft Office Suite of programs and holds numerous Microsoft Office certifications. In addition to the Office courses, he teaches Web Page Design, Visual Basic Programming and Information System Engineering. Anthony attended Rutgers University (Newark Campus)and San Diego City College. He holds a bachelor's degree in Psychology from San Diego State University and participated in the Doctoral Program at Stanford University. Anthony is a U.S. Navy veteran and was an instructor in Psychology at the University of Pittsburgh for three years. He has been an instructor at National College since 1994.

Virginia Hylton has 15 years of experience as a pharmacy technician, working her way into the supervisor role. She holds an associate degree in Information Systems Engineering and is nationally and state certified as a Pharmacy Technician. Virginia is an instructor in the Pharmacy Technician program at the Danville, VA Campus of National College.

Kim currently holds her certification in Surgical Technology and is a Site Visitor with ARC/STSA. She is an instructor in the Surgical Technology program at the National College Danville, VA Campus.

Cathy received her bachelor's degree from Averett University. She has a strong background in business with over 30 years of experience in accounting and finance. Cathy has been part of the faculty at the National College Danville, Virginia Campus for 18 years, instructing general education and business courses.

Linda Law

Linda Law has served in a variety of managerial positions, including distribution center manager, facility manager, purchasing, transportation, and manufacturing. She also taught high school business classes and has extensive project management experience. Linda received her Bachelor of Science degree in business education and Bachelor of Science degree in business management from Averett College. She also received her Master of Business Administration degree from Averett University. Linda serves as the Danville, VA Campus Business Department Chair. She teaches business, Microsoft Office, accounting, and general education courses, and she oversees the business externships as well.

Hilary Lipscomb

Hilary Lipscomb is an instructor of Preparatory English, English Composition, and Oral Communication at the National College Danville, VA Campus. She holds a bachelors degree in English, a master's degree in secondary education with a specialization in English, and a professional teaching license from the State of Virginia. She has taught both at the middle school and high school levels.

George Oberg

George Oberg has served in many accounting and financial positions in the manufacturing, extractive and service industries including cost, financial reporting, treasury, chief financial officer, and has had operations oversight responsibilities. He currently owns and operates a horse breeding marketing and sales company. George received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Elmhurst College and a Master of Business Administration degree in Accounting from the Keller Graduate School of Management. He is an instructor of most business and accounting courses offered at the National College Lexington Campus. George also serves as an instructor through classroom-conferencing for the Danville, VA, Indianapolis, and Lynchburg Campuses.

Byron Rawlinson

For the past 10 years, he has owned and operated a small business that provides health and personal care services for the geriatric population. He is licensed as a real estate salesperson in Virginia and continues to work as a NASCAR sports broadcaster. Barry received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Averett College and his Master of Arts degree in Divinity from Christian Life School of Theology. He instructs business theory and contract law courses at the National College Danville, VA Campus.

Arlene Smoot

Arlene Smoot has been teaching for more than 15 years and is presently a math instructor at a local high school. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Liberal Studies with a concentration in teaching grades 4-8, as well as a Master of Education degree in Math Education. Arlene is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She teaches algebra and other math related courses at the National College Danville, Virginia Campus.

He is currently the Director of Information Technology Programs at the Danville, Virginia Campus of National College and an instructor of information technology courses. He is a Microsoft Certified Trainer, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician, Cisco Certified Network Associate, Cisco Certified Design Associate, and holds CompTIA A+ and Network+ certifications.

Sherri Tuck has worked in the financial field for 15 years, where she has functioned as team leader and supervisor. She received an Associate of Arts and Science degree in Liberal Arts and an Associate of Applied Science degree in Accounting from Danville Community College; a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Averett University; a Master of Business Administration degree in Global Management from University of Phoenix; and a Master of Arts degree in Theological Studies from Liberty University. Sherri currently serves on the Board of Directors of two nonprofit organizations in Danville, Virginia and recently completed the Duke University Board Training Program. She is an instructor of courses in business management and general education at the National College Danville, Virginia Campus.

She previously worked for Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital for three years. Jennifer has an associate degree in Surgical Technology and holds her Certification in Surgical Technology. She teaches courses and coordinates all clinicals for the Surgical Technology program.

She is an ASCP registered Medical Technologist and Registered Medical Assistant. Robin's experience in hospital laboratories and internal medical physician office practices serves as an excellent resource. Robin serves the Danville, Virginia Campus as clinical instructor for the Medical Assistant program.

Robert Wooding is currently an instructor of Anatomy/ Physiology and Law and Ethics for the Medical Assisting program at the Danville, VA Campus. He is a Registered Nurse and has practiced in Med/surg, Long term and rehabilitation, Neurology and orthopedic, Palliative and ICU nursing. Robert also participated in a mission trip to Haiti during June, 2012. His most recent work as an RN was in the acute care hospital of Central Prison in Raleigh, N.C. Robert holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and a Master of Fine Arts degree.
