Beverly Anderson

Beverly H. Anderson has operated her own freelance bookkeeping service since 1996, providing general bookkeeping and payroll services to small businesses. In 2008, she founded the Home-Based Business Chamber of Commerce where she serves as the national president. Beverly serves as a small business consultant, speaker, and volunteer small business mentor. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English/Secondary Education with a minor in Office Administration, a Master of Business Administration degree in Organizational Management specializing in Human Resources, and is currently pursuing her doctoral degree in Management and Organizational Leadership from the University of Phoenix. Beverly's professional associations include being a member of the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers, National Association of Female Executives, former member of the Cambridge Who's Who Among Professional Executives, and a certified Non-Profit Professional. Her awards include April Community Partner in Memphis presented by Networking In Memphis and SBA's 2012 Home-based Business Champion of the Year. She is an instructor at the National College of Business & Technology Memphis and Bartlett Campuses.

Christopher Burford

Christopher Burford has served in a variety of positions within the manufacturing industry, including financial service representative, staff accountant, plant accountant, cost accountant, and is currently senior cost accountant for Kruger Products. Christopher received his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Hampton University and his Master of Accountancy degree from Gardner-Webb University. He teaches managerial accounting, intermediate accounting I & II, and payroll accounting courses at the Bartlett Campus.

Jim Burnett
Instructor

B.S, R.Ph., D.O.

Jim Burnett has 40 years of experience in Health Care. He graduated from the University of Missouri Pharmacy School with a Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy before continuing on to medical school in Kansas City, MO. After post graduate training, Jim entered a private practice of general family medicine. He continues to own and operate a medical clinic in rural Tennessee. Jim is an instructor at the Bartlett Campus.

Stan Burton
Instructor

Stan Burton has served in variety of positions within the corporate and military fields,including Strategic Finance Manager, Master Claims Representative, Training Instructor-Writer, Recruiter, and he is currently a Senior Financial Analyst for a Fortune 500 company. Stan received his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Finance from Union University and his Master of Business Administration degree from Webster University. He is also a Retired Sgt First Class Army Reservist with more than 20 years of military service. His professional affiliations include City of Bartlett Industrial Development Board, Memphis City Charter School Board member,and Employee Relief Fund Board member for International Paper Company . Stan is an instructor at the National College of Business & Technology Memphis and Bartlett Campuses.

Renea Daugherty
Pharmacy Technician Department Chair

Renea Daugherty began her career as a Certified Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens Pharmacy for four and a half years. She then moved on to Pharmedium Health Care Services, followed by Accredo Pharmacy. She is now an instructor at the Bartlett Campus, where she serves as Department Chair of the Pharmacy Technician program.

Colonious Davis
Director of Health Information Technology

Colonious M. Davis received his Bachelor of Science degree in Health Information Management from the University of Tennessee at Memphis. He worked for 35 years at the Regional Medical Center at Memphis as Manager of Outpatient Operations. Colonious brings a wealth of experience and knowledge of Health Information and Informatics into his role as Director of Health Information Technology for the Bartlett Campus.

Brandy Flynn
Department Chair - General Education

B.S., M.S.

Brandy Flynn has worked in the mental health field for close to ten years and is presently working in her own private practice as a mental health counselor. She is a graduate of Jackson State University, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and a Master of Science degree in Guidance & Counseling. Brandy has done post-graduate studies in Women's and Gender Studies at the University of Memphis, where she will gain a certificate. She is presently working on her doctorate in the mental health field. Brandy is an instructor of courses in psychology, ethics, and English at the National College of Business & Technology Bartlett Campus, as well as the Memphis Campus, where she also serves as Department Chair for General Education and is the advisor for the Student Activities Council.

Alexis Griggs

Alexis Griggs is an instructor at the National College of Business & Technology Bartlett Campus. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice from The University of Tennessee at Martin, a Bachelor of Professional Studies degree with a concentration in paralegal studies from the University of Memphis, and a Master of Science degree in criminal justice with a concentration in criminal behavior from Tiffin University.

Sophia Hardy

Sophia Hardy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Stillman College in Tuscaloosa, AL and a Master of Secondary Education degree from Union University in Germantown, TN. She is an instructor of English at the National College of Business and Technology Bartlett Campus, where she teaches a variety of English courses and serves as the Student Activities Council Coordinator. Sophia helped establish the Cora Lambert Hardy Memorial Foundation and serves as youth director for Parkway Gardens Presbyterian Church.

Nolyn Johnson
Director of IT Programs

Dr. Nolyn Johnson has served in a variety of positions in the Information Technology industry, including IT Executive Consultant, Chief Technology Officer, IT Specialist, and IT & Business Professor. He is currently the Director of IT Programs for National College of Business & Technology in Bartlett. Nolyn received his Doctorate of Business Administration degree and also holds a Master of Information Technology degree, as well as various industry certifications.

Barton Joseph

Nancy Nesbit has been an instructor at the Bartlett Campus since 2009. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree from Mississippi College and a Master of Business Administration degree from Mississippi State University. Nancy worked as an auditor with Arthur Andersen & Co., was with FedEx Corporation for almost 20 years as a Senior Accountant, among other positions, and currently works for Pathfinders Consulting.

DeQuebanese Norton

DeQuebanese Norton received her bachelor's degree in accounting from Christian Brothers University. She began her career in the financial services industry before graduation. After ten years of service, DeQuebanese pursued various accounting jobs with small to mid-size businesses. She is currently an associate accountant for city government. DeQuebanese is an instructor of accounting courses at the National College of Business & Technology Bartlett Campus.

Chevella Oliver

Chevella Neal Oliver holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Administration from the University of Mississippi and a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Information Management (HIM) from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC), where she is also currently pursuing a master's degree in HIM. She attended the registered nursing program at Northwest Mississippi Community College and has taken multiple medical terminology courses. Chevella has over 10 years of progressive and diverse work experience in healthcare, including long term care management, research administration, and quality experience. She instructs students in the area of Health Information Technology at the Bartlett Campus of National College of Business and Technology.

Terrell W Polk

Terrell W. Polk is an instructor and Department Chair of the business program and an instructor in the Information Technology program at the National College of Business & Technology Bartlett Campus. He is actively involved in the community, facilitating GED prep and parenting skills programs and volunteering as a CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate for Children), with AmeriCorps Project TLC, and at DVAC (Domestic Violence Assessment Center). Terrell has over 20 years of business experience and earned his a Master of Business Administration degree from Strayer University, a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing/Management from Southern University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and has completed his Doctoral Studies and currently holds ABD status toward a PhD in Organizational Management & Information Technology from Capella University.

Aledria Ragland

Aledria E. Ragland has worked in the medical field for more than 15 years. She received a diploma in medical assisting from Concorde Career College, a bachelor's degree in health care administration from University of Phoenix, and holds certification as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA). Aledria teaches medical terminology, medical office finance, medical office procedures, and medical assisting exam success courses and presently serves as the Director of Health Care Education for National College of Business and Technology's Bartlett Campus.

Latisha Robertson

Latisha Robertson has been an instructor at National College since 2009. She earned her bachelor's degree in Business Management from the University of Memphis, her Master of Business Administration degree from Strayer University, and is currently a doctoral candidate of Organizational Leadership at the University of Phoenix. Latisha served as a classroom instructor of GED Prep and Office Technology in Business for the Memphis Literacy Council. She also gained experience in the commodities trading industry working as a Research Assistant and Trading Coordinator. In addition, she currently is a Learning Coach for students enrolled in K-12 Online Public School.

Betty Thompson

Betty Thompson has worked in the medical field for more than 30 years. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in medical technology from Bennett College and was certified as a Medical Technologist at Howard University's Freedman's Hospital. She teaches medical terminology, healthcare law and ethics, and other medical courses at the National College Bartlett Campus.
