Charley Bowman

Charley Bowman has served in the public sector in Ohio as a community development director and city manager. He is also a consultant, entrepreneur, and owner of Economic Development Data Services, LLC. Charley has been an instructor at the National College Akron Area Campus since 2006. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in geography and a Master of Public Administration degree.

Gregory Chambers

Greg Chambers has served in a variety of positions in the Corporate Management and Financial Service industries, including Chairmen of a Chinese Joint-Venture, Group Senior Vice President and General Counsel, as well as a Stock and Insurance Broker. Currently, Greg is President of his own consulting company. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from Western Reserve University and a Juris Doctor degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. He is a member of the Ohio Bar and the United States Supreme Court and has a Series 7 and Medical and Life Licenses. He is an instructor of Ethics, Practical Law, Sales and Contract Law, Human Resource Management, and Medical Law and HIPAA courses at the National College Akron Area and Cleveland Area Campuses.

Richard E. Crislip
Director of Information Systems Engineering

Richard E. Crislip has worked in a variety of positions within the data processing arena for over 40 years. He has most recently worked as Help Desk, network monitor, mainframe operator, and shift supervisor for FirstEnergy. Richard holds an associate degree in data processing and a bachelor's degree in business administration and holds certifications in CompTia CE and MS-MCT. He serves as Director of the Information Systems Engineering program at the National College Akron Area Campus.

L. Cuneo

L. Cuneo has been an instructor of college-level mathematics, from remedial math to pre-calculus, for two decades. She is also an experienced tutor in all levels of math and a variety of other subjects. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Education degree in Secondary Math Education. She teaches Prep Math, College Algebra, and Business Math I courses at the National College Akron Area Campus.

Rebecca Davis

Rebecca Davis received a Master of Business Administration degree in accounting from University of Phoenix and a bachelor's degree from American International College in Springfield, Massachusetts. She has held a variety of accounting positions, including business manager and bookkeeper. She currently runs her own small tax business and also works for Aris Services LLC, which does payroll, taxes, financial advising, and bookkeeping for small to midsize businesses. Rebecca is an instructor at the National College Akron Area and Cleveland Area Campuses.

Barbara Hornick

Barbara Hornick is a former computer programmer with several years of experience in installing software and training users. Barbara received her Bachelor of Science degree in Technology from Cameron University and is currently pursuing a master's degree in Instructional Technology at the University of Akron. She is a past recipient of the Master Teacher Award from the Ohio Association of Career Colleges and Schools and teaches Information Systems Engineering and Microsoft Office courses at the National College Akron Area Campus.

Norman Katz
Department Chair - Accounting

Norm Katz has worked in the business education field for over 20 years and is a highly experienced manufacturing supply chain manager. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from John Carroll University and is certified in production and inventory management. He teaches a wide range of accounting courses and serves as Chair of the Business/Accounting departments at the Akron Area Campus.

Kristina King
Department Chair - General Education

Kristina King has worked as an educator for 18 years, and she is presently an English instructor and department chair for general education at the Akron Area Campus. Kristina has a Bachelor of Science degree in English/Education from Kent State University and a Master of Education degree from Bethel University. She teaches Written Communications, Preparatory English, and other English courses.

Roberta Lewis

Roberta Lewis is an instructor at National College's Akron Area Campus in the Medical Assisting program. She has earned associates degrees in both Medical Assisting and Business Administration, as well as a bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management. She has over seven years of experience in the medical assisting field.

Penelope Pinkston

Penelope Pinkston has specialized experience in administration, curriculum, instruction, literacy, and over 15 years of instructional/classroom experience as an educator. Jean Ryan has worked in the medical field for over 15 years. In the last 11 years, she specialized in physical rehabilitation and home health care at Wadsworth-Rittman Hospital. Jean holds an associate degree and is a Registered Nurse. She is an instructor in the Health Care program at National College's Akron Area Campus.

Kim Smotek

Kim Smotek has worked in the pharmacy setting for over 20 years, with most of her career focused on long term care pharmacy. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Cleveland State University and is a Certified Pharmacy Technician. Kim is an instructor of introduction to pharmacology, pharmacology, dosage and calculations, and various other courses in the health care department. She also serves as faculty advisor for the student activities council and academic advisor for the campus.

Frank Stuchal

Frank Stuchal has served in a variety of positions within the tire industry, including various technical and managerial positions. Frank received his bachelor's degree from John Carroll University and his PhD in chemistry from Purdue University. He has taught math and chemistry courses and is currently teaching Environmental Science.

Brett Tipton

Brett A. Tipton has taught speech, writing, and management courses at various colleges for over ten years. He has been a member of Toastmasters International and served as Vice President of Membership for Tree City Toastmasters. Brett holds a Master of Arts degree in communication and rhetoric from the University of Akron.

Debra Tymcio

Debra Tymcio graduated from Malone College with a degree in Radiologic Technology and enjoyed a twenty-five year career as a registered diagnostic radiographer. For the past thirteen years, Debra has taught medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and medical ethics to students in the allied health professions. She currently serves as the Director of Health Care Education at National College's Akron Area Campus.
