The Application Process in a Nutshell

Step 1: Meet our Admissions Staff

The first step towards expanding your career opportunities is meeting our admissions staff. We recommend that applicants and their families visit the National College campus they are considering attending so they can acquaint themselves with college personnel and facilities in person. Those who cannot visit the campus are urged to call the Admissions Department for a telephone interview. Choose a National Campus location near you from the list to the right to speak with an Admissions Representative.

Step 2: Apply for FAFSA Online

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid, also known as FAFSA, will help your Student Services Representative to determine your eligibility for various funding programs and inform you of all available options in paying for your education. Applying before our financial aid deadlines is important so that we can determine eligibility for all financial assistance options before you start your classes.

You will need the school code for the college you wish to attend on your FAFSA application. Select the campus of your choice from the dropdown list for the corresponding code.

After completing your FAFSA, you will have the opportunity to meet with your Student Services Representative to discuss all possible financial aid packages. This will allow you to make the most informed choices on your investments into your education. Make sure you print a copy of your Student Aid Report (SAR) and bring it with you to your first appointment with your Financial Aid Advisor. Click here for more information.

Step 3: Fill out an Application

To apply for admission, complete an Application for Admission and mail it to the campus you wish to attend. The Application for Admission is considered complete with the supporting documents and application fee.
