Moving into The Future
"I was employed in the industrial sector, but when automation started taking over on the assembly line I knew I needed a background in computers. The Internet really fascinated me. Millions of computers around the world are networked together, and I wanted to learn more about that. I'm now in the Information Systems Engineering program, and my goal is to become a consultant. Security consultants are in great demand, and the trend now is toward securing networks not only from the outside but from inside intruders, where seven of every ten security breaches originate.
I've found excellent instructors at National College. They really want to see each student succeed. The administration has shown a lot of initiative in purchasing cutting-edge technology, since hands-on training in this field is essential.
The classes are challenging, and so are the certification exams. But it's worth it, and I have no doubt I'll have all the qualifications I need for a great job." --Larry Sutherland
