Woman on a Mission

"I started classes at National College in 1984, intending to earn my Associate Degree in Accounting. I wanted to live on my own and felt comfortable with the smaller classes at National College. But I've always been the type of person to not finish what I started, so, after the first year I left with just an accounting diploma.

Now, eighteen years later, I am a woman on a mission. I returned to college to finish what I originally set out to do, and to move up in my current job with Pepsi-Cola. None of this would have been possible without the Business Partnership Grant from National College. Pepsi encourages everyone to further their education, and I would not have been able to afford it without their help. I also feel that every class that I have taken thus far relates to my job.

I have gained a tremendous amount of knowledge without worrying how to pay for it. I hope that other companies utilize the Business Partnership Grant to help their employees achieve their goals in life like Pepsi has done for me." --Linda Hoffman
