"I'm Worth It"
Debi Detamore received her associate degree from National College's Charlottesville Campus back in 1984. Just out of the military, she was able to attend National with her GI Bill benefits, and the experience changed her life. "The teachers and staff were very understanding and encouraged me that this was the best way to improve myself," says the single mother of four. But her perseverance back then paid off. "The college helped me in my career, so I am able to be in an elite position in a wonderful company. Now I have the salary that says, 'I'm worth it!'"
